How are you feeling after your divorce and why it’s important to know?
After a divorce, it’s important to know how you feel and how it affects your health.
To do this you need to know how you are feeling:
- Physically
- Mentally
- Emotionally
- Spiritually
These four things, some consider the Four Bodies, however, they are better known as the 4 pillars of health and wellness.
The foundation of health and wellness starts with how well balanced you are emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
How are you feeling after your divorce and why it’s important to know?
This is why the best way to understand how you are doing is to ask yourself the simple questions:
- How am I feeling mentally?
- How am I feeling emotionally?
- How am I feeling physically?
- How am I feeling spiritually?
Told you they were simple questions.
And when you answer them you need to be honest.
Treat this exercise as if you are meeting with a doctor whose goal is to make you better and you are going over all of the symptoms you have when you’re sick.
Also, write it down or you can record a voice memo of what and how you are feeling.
I recommend writing it down so you can compare it daily.
Make a note if you are feeling more tired today than yesterday or if you are feeling happier than you did a week ago.
One of the biggest frustrations I went through was the shifts (peaks and valleys) in emotions and how it wore on me mentally.
In contrast, most men hide their emotions and this adds a heavy mental weight on you.
You will crack eventually!
Likewise, there is a reason people that have gone through what we have gone through say you will have a roller coaster of emotions for no reason.
Because it’s true!!
FINAL THOUGHTS
By maintaining an honest assessment of how you feel mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually you can grasp and take more control of:
- What you are feeling?
- How you are feeling?
- Why you are feeling?
As always…
Be Great! Be You!
